66 years has passed since Independence.Every year on this precise day, at the stroke of midnight, India rises to celebrate what it cherishes most- Freedom/Independence day.

National anthem, Prime Minister’s speech, flag hoisting in schools and a national holiday is the sight that welcomes one on this day.

City police station on wheels

Chennai: Don’t be surprised if a red and white coloured mini-bus with a projector and a 42-inch LCD TV passes by.

It is the city’s police station on wheels. In an attempt to strengthen police-public relation and secure public security, this initiative of Chennai police has been in existence for a decade.
